The Caribbean Cultural Association was developed as a non-profit organization for the purposes of disseminating information on the African/Caribbean derived cultural heritage within the United States. Broadening information on these heritage is to access a wealth of information on the assimilation of world cultures under the influence of different socio-economic structures, thereby accumulating comparative knowledge of behavioral trends.

We are able as a people without prejudice to adopt a path of endeavor as a matter of Cogent choosing within the emerging "New World Order" hopefully for the greater benefit as mankind, or reject with confidence because we have lived the reality of such integration.

In doing so we have adopted the position as a clearing house for information between the various publics' within the greater Caribbean Basin. We have developed linkages with other organizations for the purposes of cultural exchanges between nations. One of these worth mentioning is "Open Your Heart 2 Haiti". CCA is proud to act as a clearing house for information and exchange of goods and services as a contribution to "the least of these".

In 2010 almost one year after the devastation in Haiti by a massive earthquake, CCA had the distinction of parenting the historic diplomatic union "Sister City/Oakland and Port-de-Paix" A relationship cemented in a proclamation signed by Honorable Ronald V. Dellums (Mayor of Oakland, CA, USA) and His Magistrate Salvatore Qeuillet (Mayor of Port-de-Paix, Haiti). The signing was hosted by City of Oakland Intergovernmental Affairs and other Oakland Sister City organizations.

As we continue to evolve as an organization, we hope to continue the tradition which has proven effective in bringing the best of all worlds to recognition within a myriad of cultural expressions and exchange of hearts for greater understanding of our various heritages.
